The original logo had good bones. Our goal was to maintain the original logo without loosing too much of the current brand recognition. Creating a stronger, bolder lockup that can be applied to both print and digital platforms.

Wanting to maintain the structural integrity of the original mark not wanting to stray too far from his original brand. Wanting to maintain the current welcoming brand perception that has had a lasting impression on the Virginia Beach community.


'Shape a Better World' was the new brand messaging we wanted to communicate to both current and new surfers looking to break into what is already a very exclusive community.

The logo needed to be able to be utilized in a variety of mediums and platforms. One of these being surfboards. The lock up creates a tight and clean 'seal' to let potential consumers know who made these awesome boards.
