The Special Operations Climbers Coalition (SOCC) is dedicated to supporting veterans—particularly those from special operations and military backgrounds—as they transition into careers in mountain guiding and the outdoor industry. Recognizing the unique skill set that military personnel bring to the mountains—leadership, risk assessment, endurance, and problem-solving—SOCC provides a structured pathway for veterans and active-duty service members to gain the technical skills, certifications, and mentorship necessary for success in the field.
